Introduction to Module: Application Design 2 Quick introduction to Mobile Application Design Setting up academic blog, establishing social platform for real-time sharing

We received a thorough overview of the duties and expectations for the brief semester at our first lecture session.

we did some exercise with Chatgpt and coding , creating a 4 page website .




Task 1: App Design 1 Self-Evaluation and Reflection

Week 01 – Week 04 

Description 

Students are required to perform a self-evaluation and reflection based on their mobile application design 1 final project. This project is aimed to document the issues, problems, difficulties and propose solutions to improve the mobile app design. Mobile App design is an iterative process and this task will expose to students the constant improvements one can make to their app. Students are required to submit the documentation in Google Doc for ease of commenting and feedback by the module coordinator.


Exercise 2 


Creating an app given by lecturer using Figma and Dreamweaver.

We learn how to turn our figma designs to a website app through Dreamweaver with coding .
which includes changing colors , adding images , fonts .We also learn to add animations and learn to create buttons with pages .

Redesigning My App



Reflection

The first image shown below is my old app Design , the main idea is to redesign it and make it more better and maybe more attractive to the eyes.

First idea that came into my mind was to change the color this blue looks abit oldschool maybe from windows 98 or 2000 and i didnt like it that much .

i plant to make it more modern and add some gradient to it .for the buttons i change it to more simple color and maybe tweak the shape a little from circle to more square-ish . 

In the second image u can see the new design and how calm looking it is to the eyes , not to bright and not to dark. i have also adde transparent background so we can still see the gradient effect to it .

FINAL PROJECT 


For my final project i need to bring my app alive and by doing that i brought into dreamweaver and use HTML and CSS .

With the help of lectures guidance i manage to build my app , it is very tough because it is my first app to build alone but overall turns out to look good ,time was not on my side ,but i learn alot and the understanding of each code and functions better with the struggle of playing around with the codes and testing new codes, i hope i will improve and be better .
