Advance interactive Design / Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media

INTRODUCTION 


Students are required to create a (prototype) interactive application for
an online store. For example, an online ticket booking system for
cinema / football matches, a restaurant reservation system with an
online menu or a pizza ordering system.

Students are only required to develop the front end interaction, UI
design, scripting and animation. Backend programming is not required
as it is meant to be a prototype.

Interactive applications should be able to communicate to the audience
about the sites goal and objectives. Users should be able to navigate
and use the applications without any difficulties.

Exercises

Week 05 – Week 10

Description

Augmented Reality Experience Filter

AR is the latest form of interactive design nowadays. Students are
required to develop AR application with AR interactivity which will detect
user face and expression.

Requirement

Students are required to develop an AR application for an online store.
For example, an AR application for glasses, hats or cosmetic shops.
Customers of the shop will use the AR application to try different
options before making their purchase. Students are welcome to
propose new AR application ideas as well, but must obtain the approval
from the lecturer.

Students are required to develop:

Interactive microsite using Adobe Animate
The website should follow design principles learned from
Interactive Design class. The content must use original text and
original graphic design. The website should not have broken
links and properly use of HTML Tags
